Dracula! Dracula! Schedule?
- Expectationum Lowerairius!: Carter Beats the Devil, one of my favorite books of ALL TIME, is being turned into a movie. It could be awesome. Hey, how did my other favorite book, Love in the Time of Cholera, fare as a movie? Oh. Oh no.
- Yet Science Still Cannot Explain Shia Labeouf's Career: A look at 4 cliche movie moments that are explained by psychology. Most of it boils down to "humans are a superstitious cowardly lot."
- Spoiler Alert - This Movie is AWESOME: Joshua Miller looks at the Phantasm movie franchise, in particular Phantasm II. I love this movie so much, but be forewarned, he pretty much spoils the whole movie. But seriously, y'all: this movie is awesome. AWESOME.
- Bride of Kuato?: This is hilarious nightmare fuel. Toddler beauty pageant contestant isn't a fan of hairspray and her dramatic reaction to the substance is slooooowed down for your amusement/disgust. (Via The Daily What)
- Don't Touch Pre-Established Canon...OOPS!: Star Wars R2-D2 Operation is pretty dope. If you did a sum total of hate/love ratio - I think I end up hating this franchise. And yet I can't stop looking at this shit. Why? WHY WON'T YOU SET ME FREE?
- My Favorite Added Scene? When Gollum is Balls Deep in the Spider: Still unsure if you should purchase the recent Blu-Rays of the extended edition of Lord of the Rings? Here's the 10 best added scenes. It's mainly nerd completist stuff, but there's some cool shit in there, too.
- Sounds Like Metastasis!: The Radioactive Orchestra is a cool web app that uses radioactive isotopes and their nucleii to create music. See, kids - science can be fun (and also horribly carcinogenic). (Via Reddit)
- The Kid that Plays Sagat Kind of Scares Me: Man Factory has a video for their dope track "balrog 24/7." I'm really digging on their album, y'all.
