• SyFy is a Cable Channel. Just sayin'...: Speaking of cable dramas like The Killing, AV Club ponders whether or not cable is still the best venue for quality television. Once again, my beloved Terriers is brought up...le sigh.
• Oh Hai, Niche Tell-All Book Market: Greg Sestero -who played Mark the amoral lothario in The Room - will finally let us all know what it's like to work with Tommy Wiseau in his new book, Locked Inside 'The Room.' I'm guessing the phrase "for some reason" will be used extensively.
• Finally, a Way to Get Me Interested in Looking at Ayn Rand Books: I kid, I kid. But fuck Randian objectivism. The Book Surgeon creates amazing works of art using texts and some blades. It's really quite exquisite, textured work that has to be seen to be believed.
• Still Better Than The Movie with Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo: Topless Robot hipped me to this awesome video from Dorkly on the secret, shameful origins of Super Mario Bros.:
