I have been inspired by bold new colors since the
Jil Sander Spring 2011 walked the runway last September. They look especially sharp paired with on-trend neutrals.

Here is a way to bring some color into your wardrobe (and new life to last year's wedges) with only a few $$$!
You will need:
- Neutral color wedge sandals
- Masking or painter's tape
- White acrylic paint
- Bright acrylic paint color of your choice
- Paint Brush
Step 1
Tape off areas of your shoe that you will not be painting to protect the leather.
Step 2
If the wedge on your heel is leather, treat the area with nail polish remover. If the wedge is hard plastic, rub with sand paper. These steps will help your paint adhere better.
Step 3
Coat of white paint. Dilute the paint with water until you reach a smooth consistency that does not leave brush marks.
Step 4
Color paint!!! Again, dilute the acrylic paint with water. Do as many coats as necessary, my shoes required three.
And enjoy this colorful addition to your spring/summer wardrobe!
